I don't - I used to use them...in Doom. But these days I don't use cursors or WASD. There was a (rather lengthy) thread about it somewhere.

I remember when WASD started appearing in standard key configs for PC games, strange times indeed.

Early 2000 wasn't it?

I remember HL1/Quake2/Sin being Cursor as default, UT/Quake 3 were the first wern't they?

Probably something like that. I think I remember using WASD for HL1 but having to set the WASD config myself.

Same, I remember playing DOOM with right mouse button to move and thinking "fuck this for a game of soldiers"

i remember wolfenstien 3D, there wasnt really a straffe or anything.
mouse move forward = forwards, left & right = turn left & right

In hindsight, horrible, but at the time best game evar
