Printing/copying a secure PDF

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Printing/copying a secure PDF

Post by Dr. kitteny berk »

Okay, this has got me stuck, I have a PDF that I'd like to be able to print, but the security crap on it won't allow me to.

anyone know of any easyish ways around this?

Don't use Adobe (ever, but especially in this instance)

Try Foxit, it's free, isn't bloaty shit like Adobe Acrobat, doesn't take 5 minutes to load, and past versions have allowed me to ignore security on documents.

Is the pdf saved to your hdd? If it isn't you might be able to manipulate it with 'Advanced>Enable Usage Right...'.

If it's on your hdd, save it under a different name, try the same as :above:. Or you could try saving it, then previewing it, this used to bypass security measures, doubt it does now, d/l an old reader version, 6 or so and try it!

If it isn't on your hdd and all :above: doesn't work, I'd go with a screen cap program/print screen, to capture it all, shit I know, but I can't think of much else.

Also, I found this security remover thingy. It might be shite/spyware/not do a thing, but it's an option.

Ooh, I'm a zergling, did it work ok then? It sounds as though it did from :above: but was it filled with bad computer aids or was it legit?

Unless it's a long file, screen grabs do it?
