Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

Post by deject »

Anyone else interested in this? Looks like it could be a great one, and it'll have co-op.

I've seen news of this from time to time. The co-op could make it great, and there seems to be a lot of exitement about it, but I just can't muster much enthusiasm myself for some reason. Maybe it's because I never really liked Hitman, and maybe it's because Lynch looks like my father in law.

I'm interested in this as its a game built around the storyline of two charcters rther than the other way around.

I just watched a videoand it doesn't look much different from the likes of Rainbow Six, just on the other side of the law. Perhaps the characters can make it special, they were certainly very cool in the teaser trailers.

Aye, looks good to me. Is it limited to 2-person co-op? I'll probably give it a sweep.

I think so. The console version apparently doesn't have online co-op, and only a second player to control Lynch.

bah the reviews coming down the pike are pretty meh on it. :(

This could have been 37 different kinds of awesome in a row, but instead it looks like it's bog-standard.

Played it, beat it, have now forgotten it. I'd say 65/100 is a good score for it. It plays kinda like Freedom Fighters, but grittier and shittier. Freedom Fighters was a much more enjoyable game.

I conker. It could have been special and different and used the 2 characters as the base of a purposely co-op driven game with all kinds of 'reservoir dogs style we're bad ass lets fuck people up' bits, but it's not.

It's even worse on the 360, I know I've said this a lot, but the controls are fucking shocking. In all fairness to the 360, the controller will never be mouse sharp, but the 360 pad is still really good, just that this game plain refused to let me move. If you see it in electronics boutique or similar, give it a go, just to see how truly shocking it is.

The sensitivity did need changing for me, but everything in that respect could be tinkered with, which was nice. Far from epic, but still, balls to you all. Wasn't that bad.

I've always been a console tard at heart, being without a pc as just helped me to realise my goal.
But I've been doing the factory thing working stupid hours for stupid money with stupid co-workers. On friday they called me to say they didn't need me back, then about an hour ago they called to say they couldn't live without me and need me back. So naturally i told them bollocks today as im having a lazy day. Its a love hate thing.
