DVD player, can anyone point me in the direction of a free or
DvD player to use on windows Xp? Cheers and a shiney imaginery caek to the first one who can.

Alternatively, you can just grab
ffdshow and
ac3filter , and then play your DVDs in WMP or whatever.

Media player classic seems to crash after the title screen each time, I'll try a few more, I go a copy of Real DvD somewhere.

Woah, MPC crashes?
I think you've got something very wrong there, that little beauty sucks up the shittiest sweepings, and the dodgiest of codecs with ease. VLC tends to handle the few things MPC doesn't, but I hate the fucking orange roadcone icon, it looks terrible.

occasionally have mpc crash, but that's always immediate, not after menus etc.
