yes, that's 2 $600 videocards and 6 hard drives. It's too bad the ASUS mobo doesn't support RAID 5, because that would be the ideal way to set up those 4 400GB drives.

I'm gonna hijack this hardware related post with question time!!

I've just ordered a DVD burner and am now thinking about installation,
I currently have 2 Hard Drives on my 1st IDE channel and 1 CDR/DVD-ROM combo on my 2nd IDE channel.

So should I be lazy and just wack it on the same channel as my current DVD drive? OR would having 1 Hard drive and one DVD drive on each channel improve performance?

Hmm hmm, what is the answer?

Oh and in either case what should the master/slave jumper settings be? :?

I'm guessing that your current CD-RW/DVD-ROM is set to master, so just set the new drive to Slave on the second channel. Your performance won't change that much either way.
