I've had a brief couple of goes but it's hard to get too involved while there's other games currently taking up my time. Seems okay, much like the demo but with more map.
Ahem. Well, I did have a game scheduled for last night, but I somehow ended up playing TF2 all night instead. Again. As a result, I've still not actually tried it once, despite receiving the pre-order nearly a week ago.
I got as far as the titles, before noting it wanted to upgrade. Very poor timing on iD's part - this would have been a massive title if not released so close to so many other games.
I would have rocked in the summer, but within weeks of TF2/OB and Halo 3, it's been eclipsed.

1- Send it back.
2- Play teef, lol heavily.
3- Receive monies from return of game, use to buy multiple alcohols, play teef whilst drunk, lol until almost sick.
I may have opened and installed it, but I've not actually started it up or entered the product key anywhere so it would still be a perfectly good-as-new game. Anyone want to buy it?
You may possibly guess fom the post above that I will decline your offer of buying it. Surely you can return it for a full refund? 28 days for distance buying, or is that voided by the opening of the case?
Given that it's open and I've had access to the registration code, I imagine I can't return it. I imagine that for similar reasons, people other than 5punkers, who I'd like to think would trust me, and fools who aren't naturally suspicious, wouldn't buy it either. Guess I may as well play it then!
I've got it, unfortunately its unplayable on my PC so it'll have to wait until I get a new one, seems like it might be good though when I run out of other games to play.
Well I have got it, and I have played it quite extensively. For one thing it is not another Beef Clone it is more like an Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory upgrade. The same as BF1942 in comparisomn to Beef 2.
I have to admit that I like it, I like the fact that there are no persistant Stats and everyone starts on a level playing field, that was one of the things that put me off play BF2. When played correctly, ie as a team, it is highly entertaining. The other night me and one Infiltrator held back the GDF from hacking the computer, I was Technician (Medic) so I just kept the big gun healthy and made sure there was always a spawn point nearby in case any of us got killed. Was great fun and very satisfying to win the Map.
I give it the thumbs up, but it may not be everyones cup of tea.
