medieval total war II, Fista compatability buggeryness.

Post by r3c^ »

Fista is a bastard, got MTW2 all patched up on my flatmates PC (which i frequently erm... steal) and followed the few vague suggestions for resolving compatability issues

but the damn game repeatedly crashes to desktop, or even reboots the PC at random intervals, anyone got this game working properly? and help for this mildly frustrated luddite retard

There is another option, you have to run the game in a compatability mode, here's how that works-

1-right click on the game.exe that you want to run, and then follow the menu options below Uninstall fista.

2-Re-install XP.

3-enjoy gaming without a dodgy half working os.

4...

5-Profit!!! :P

Works okay for me under Fista, but I only have v 1.02 and can't patch it because it's a (legally) downloaded copy and you can only use their patches, which they haven't, and have no plans to, release.

So, it works without crashing, but all the soldiers run in the opposite direction to the one instructed.
