Just got back from my exercise, to discover that my cars ready. and its gonna cost me 1000POUNDS!!eleventy1.

And my desktop died.

And i'm skint. Far too much drinking in Ripon, Harrowgate, and york.

Its Harrowgate. Also, drinking in Ripon? Whut! That place is a dive, I know, I went to school there. Cut my clubbing teeth in Sly's, or as its known now, The Matrix. Sly's held the honour of being voted FHM's 'the worst club in europe' a few years back.

Yes, but when the g+t is only 1.25 for a double, and its open on some weeknights till 3am, i can live with any amount of dirty skutters and broken down revolving dancfloors

Plus it was either that, pay stupid amounts for 30minute taxies to the 'gate, or spending another night in my 25man room in deverill/claro barracks. and that last idea was a none starter

It depends on my puter. if its just a PSU blown, then i should be able to get it sorted this week.

If its not, then i have a problem. i'm back in/near oxford now, so i dunno if annyone is coming this direction.

and if i can string the garage out till pay day (while still having my car would be a bonus, but thats unlikely) then there may be a chance yet.

curse my taste for substandard cheap gin! :shakesfist:

Oxford isnt very far really. You don't need to bring a PC as berk said, you can borrow stuff. And if you aren't carrying a machine, you could jump on a train I think for about £30.

Plus, I don't know about 5punk LAN's, but the ones I've been to recently don't seem to involve everyone in front of all PC's at the same time, theres always certain amount of rotation with consoles/beer/food/looking at RL objects etc.

Grimmie, Tezz, and HeHulk, could you arrange a meetup point between yourselves, probably Grim's would be best as i know where that is, then we can spend the next hour trying to cram everything into the car instead of re-arranging it all when we pick someone up.

I always play with myself when asleep, much more fun than when I am awake as I can pretend it's Kylie and her biologically enhanced Clone doing it.

Plus ingesting alcohol through the skin stops you having that mouth like Gandhis flip flop feeling in the morning...
