so i haven't played the game, but how can they continue on the story? there's only one rapture right?

The endings are quite open to sequelage. Alternatively, you could have a different view of life in rapture, a la half life!

Ignore the previous moral choices, and provide a new, deeper/more covoluted set of moral choices for the player to ponder. It's the industry standard!

Rapture doesn't get destroyed or anything like that. It could be a prequel and you only see part of the city.

I think they could quite easily do a prequel to Bioshock which expands on all the tape diaries you find, starting with rapture in all its glory and you working as one of Fontaine's gang maybe then leading up to everyone going crazy.

I have tried to play the demo on Steam and I can run nice and smooth up to the point where I get in the lift, then the lift thing docks and my machine shits itself

Have you tried the latest beta drivers from
here ? Thats what was happening for me until I installed them.
