I need something for my twin towers, cos basically every time i touch the old Hi-Fi amp i'm using i loose the balance to the speakers and have to fiddle with the half-broken balance switch. Unless i wire the speakers with a proper plug (!?)<a href="

so yea i think i need a dose of 5punky know-it-all

Why jack someone elses thread, start a new one you lazy fucker.
Buy some of the new kef eggs, they are fucking beautiful.
Buy an integrated amp from nad, just because of the name, plus side, they're nice amps.
Buy a technics scdv290 system for cheap clear sounds.
That should cover all questions.

Fix'd.

Nad do make nice amps, although there are plenty of other good options. Rotel and Yamaha, for example, produce decent stuff at a somewhat lower cost.
And then (for a lot more cash) there's Musical Fidelity. Mmmm.

I bought the Denon AVR-1507 today.
All plugged in for sound (Xbox 1 and 360 on optical now), will sort out video later.
Thanks.
