I'm not too keen on the use of cutscenes, especially not reasonably poor quality bink videos (hopefully they're just over-compressed for the demo)
On the plus side, I think the cutscenes play when the maps change (I'm not certain, but there's 5 maps in the map folder, and I noticed no loading.)
The water is very pretty, feels very wet, which is good
I'd *strongly* suggest running the highest AA you can (I think you need to horse it using driver settings) just helped it feel a bit better (to me at least)

Oooh, can't wait to play the game now. I had no problems with the install, no crashes or anything. Gameplay was brilliant and smooth (everything maxed) and yes water is very wet and pretty in this game.

Really? The load times were extremely long for me. Maybe the loading while playing cut scenes thing is for multi-core processors.
I'm going to install those drivers soon and hopefully I'll get to play past the second load screen.

The only load I got was the first one before anything, was fairly long, but no worse than beef

Meh, installed the new drivers but now the sound keeps getting stuck and stuttering and textures aren't appearing on objects unless I stare at them for about 10 seconds.

Well, mine worked flawlessly.
And, basically

That little taster was very very pretty, and quite fun. Level design looks excellent as well.

I have it installed, but I haven't had time to play it yet. Still, I'm tempted to just buy it anyways...

I know what I'm going to spend my student loan money on, come mid September. Unfortunately not your new PC, Monsieur Janssen.
