Currently there's just an US and an EU server, I chose EU and did the training and first few missions.

Edit: though I think it has a few instances of each area, kinda like GW does, but i'm not sure how you swap between them

I played for a bit, not too impressed at the moment. It's different and the shooting is not too bad, it makes a change.

after an hour or so, it got much better, especially when your away from the main town, spent most of it pissing about, and made 6 levels in about 2 hours of actual playing. I hope they increase the levels gaps for the real game, or I have a feeling ytou could make 20 in less that a week or playing.

First 10ish levels you can do in 2 days, then then it gets serious/boring

Indeed, my mate who had my WoW account off me has just got a new rogue up to L20 in the space of a few days.

Rather assisted by the fact he uses his L70 warrior to kill all the bad guys before waltzing in with the rogue to grab the quest items, my observation that he's not actually playing the damn game falls on deaf ears.

After the super long download I went to crank this up last night and lo & behold it fucking BSODed me, right in the arse. Don't know whether to bother trying again just yet.

From what i have read online, the level spacing is just like this for the beta, so you never know.

I've had a quick bash on this and i reckon it is pretty win. Not so keen on the animations for the special powers (zomg draw a circuit board in the air and make laser lightning type stuff!) you get, but otherwise quite shiney. Been playing on the EU test server, but i have forgotten my char name as i pressed random

Shall be giving it a bash on wednesday night if any of you 5punky bastards want to join me

Recruit,

In light of recent developments in our war against the Bane, AFS High Command has deemed it necessary to initiate a character wipe. To prepare for the gruelling battle ahead, a new build has been issued and is now available to all personnel. This is what it’s all about soldier, Tabula Rasa! A clean slate…

Battlefield access will be restricted to Concordia and Torden, but all recruits of all levels will now be granted beta access 24/7 for the next week (06/09/07 to 13/09/07). Be sure to report in for duty, day or night, and play your part.
