Pokemon Pearl/Diamond

Post by tandino »

Tj for FatherJack (it is you who has the DS, right?):

Are you likely to be purchasing one of the new DS Poke yer moms? I'm off camping this weekend with it and hope to get accustomed to it by my return. If you are, I shall let you know which I'm purchasing, should you wish to get the other for trading.

Yes I'm 24 and yes I am talking about Pokemon games.

mod edit: No hiding your pokemon antics in a blatant tangent

It still surprises me the good reviews these pokemon games get, they could just churn out crap and the kids would buy it. I'm tempted to play one myself.

They get ever-so slightly better each time, with the exception of the Game Cube ones. I think I know where my DS is now, not Angelsey as I had thought, so I can hopefully see how this latest release matches up.

Cursory glance indicates it uses the dual battle system from XD, which was one of the few things that release did right.

Woo! Lifted and reseated in a shiny new thread - good mod work whoever.

I have the diamond version now so when I've got more into it we'll discuss OCD options. I've not played one since the age of 16 (Pokemon Blue for anyone who remembers) on my Gameboy. I'm enjoying this particular version now though, pretty spot on.

Is anyone else pissed off with the fact this game is in every single TV advert break ever?

I've not seen it once yet, I'm very fortunate that way.
