un welcome reply from GM

Post by northwesten »

you remember i showed up to a POS battle? well at last i got a senior GM and this what he said

Hi.

We checked the server logs and the password was not set, hence your ship was shot down. I am sorry but we will not be able to compensate you for the loss. Perhaps you can talk about compensation with the person responsible for the POS settings.

Best regards
Senior GM Guard
EVE Customer Support

I sent reply saying wrong wrong wrong! your records are wrong! It was active and it had a Password set. :x :x :x :x

Pete, somehow I don't think you're going to win this one. Antagonizing a senior GM may also get you a very unwelcome hit with a banstick, so it might just be time to let it go.

I concur, it may seem drastic, but if you mention anthrax and vx nerve gas, that'll help too.

Why don't you try saying you knew that everything was set and dandy but due to this reply, you're going to be/seriously considering cancelling your subscription?

It doesn't work - too many people signing up at the moment for CCP to worry about losing a few subs.
