The Simpsons Movie

Post by spoodie »

Anyone seen it yet?

I thought it was okay, quite funny and had a large enough story to make it worthy of a whole film.

:above: Basically.

Nothing massively special, but not awful.

Made me LOL more than simpsons episodes usually do. Worth seeing, just not worth paying for.

It was good, nice to see the extra work put into the animation and the backgrounds, feature length, good quality Simpsons episode.

:above: Although the scabby cam vid I watched (then thought- thats wasting hdd room, bye bye) didn't really do it justice, I still lolled a lot, but given prices at the cinema appear to go up exponentially every time I'm there, I generally wont go and see anything now unless its REALLY fucking special, I watch a cam, then a dvd rip.

Have you seen it then? If not they've already beat you to that comment.

I enjoy the cinema still, especially since the screen and sound are much bigger than I can achieve and with Orange Wednesdays (with Wednesdays being cheap cinema days anyway) It costs us about £2 each.

P.S. If you want to take advantage of Orange Wednesdays, just get a friend with Orange to send the text, and then forward it to you. All they are after if the number in the text.

I never even thought of that, bloody good advice. I used to go to the cinema on wednesdays regular, then last time I went, the odeon had become an empire, and the price had more than doubled, cheeky cunts.

i enjoyed it muchly, although i am easily entertained by cheap hollywood schlock.

i lolled a lot more than i do at the episodes and the higher quality animation was very nice

edit: also, as a recently graduated student i have still been using my student ID to get reduced price, 4 times now i think since it expired, they don't tend to look to closely at the date
