Be my Steam Friend!

Which one did you want? The Ul-Ul-Ul-Ultimate Edition has everything, evar. Whilst the DLC's have everything other than the base game.

Your werds are appreciated, Pantsu. I never really went away, just had to do werkstuff™ for a while. Finally got around to buying a new pooter, and am now able to play games form this decade. As for you, Roman, I know you missed me most of all. I have a special collection of photographs just for you.

*Takes note*

The PSU comes recommended, so I don't think I change that but the mobo and RAM will get looked at again. New monitor arrived today, nowt too flash, but it'll do for now.

Re: Noo build advice

Aye, I was thinking about adding more RAM, but wasn't sure if it would actually be worth going beyond 8, and I'll be using my old optical - rarely gets used these days, so I wasn't going to bother with a new one.

Re: A Confession and a Diary

So, I started playing the content for Pandaland yesterday. I don't think anyone else is likely to play through it (I'm filling the MMO gap until GW either gets a dungeon finder or Wildstar - my money is on Wildstar being first) so I won't bother with spoiler tags. GW2 has a dungeon finder now. It's...

Re: Planetside 2

I've quite enjoyed the last couple of days on Indar, I'm not saying the Lattice has saved PS2 for me, but it seems that battles are now focused along a smaller number of fronts. Where previously you'd have an uncoordinated mass of smaller groups just running about hacking whatever they chose, now th...

Re: Spec me a laptop/tablet/web device doodad, bitches!

The VivoTab Smart (or ME400C, as they have decided to call it here) looks to be just the job. Alas, no-one has it in stock and there's no mention anywhere of the cover/keyboard thingy being available for sale at all :(

I may have to wait - and I'm not very good at that ...

Re: Spec me a laptop/tablet/web device doodad, bitches!

My irrational hatred of Apple means an iPad isn't an option, unfortunately. I suggested that budget because I hadn't planned on using it for more than a few months. However, I would like to give W8 a go, so I might be tempted to spend a little more and look for a more functional, long-term option. T...

Spec me a laptop/tablet/web device doodad, bitches!

As title. I've never really needed a lappy, and when I did, work provided one, but I now find myself living in hotels and need something more useful than a phone. It doesn't have to do anything beyond basic web stuff, watching/listening to stuff and wi-fi. Budget is probably around £200-400. Any ide...

Re: CD Projekt to announce new title

Probably bindun, but here's CD Projekt's teaser for the game. Obviously, fuck-all gameplay-wise but, as a 2020 nut, I am greatly encouraged by their vision of the universe. I used to gaze longingly at those pictures in the rule books and wonder what it might be like to run around in that world and, ...
