The largest of the five main empires, the Amarr Empire is a sprawling patch-work of feudal-like provinces held together by the might of the emperor. Religion has always played a big part in Amarrian politics and the Amarrians believe they are the rightful masters of the world, souring their relations with their neighbours. Another source of ill-feelings on part of the other empires is the fact that the Amarrians embrace slavery.

Amarr are known as the tankers of the EVE universe. With their golden hulls and lazor beams, they'd rival RO-BO in sheer shinyness if only they didn't suck so damn much (compared to RO-BO).

Designed as a High Damage Output setup. Not for Solo PvP and of limited use in PvE. Works extremely well as part of a small gang with frigate tackler.

Notes: Good Heavy Assault Ship as long as you're not expecting to take hostile fire for too long. Has a reasonable tank and brilliant damage output. Best utilised in a gang with a couple of tacklers and maybe an interdictor if you're in 0.0. - Wiggy

Use: PVP/Solo

Notes: basically orbit target at close range, ECM burst to break any locks, damps give them much longer lock time than the ECM cycle time - they cannot hit you - pure ownage - though beware domis!

The Fit:

Highs: Cloak, 2x Med nos, 1x Small Neut

Mids: 1 x best possible ECM burst, 2 x Phased Muon damps, 1 x web, 1 x scram

Lows: Big tank in the lows (EANM II's, 1600, med rep II etc) in case some DPS seeps through

Drones: = DPS with ship bonus

Rigs: If you fitted some rigs like a inverted signal field projector (for damps) or an ionic field projector (for ECM) it would be a good tradeoff for reduced shields. You would be armor tanking anyway. (In that vein, I might suggest using passive armor mods geared more towards reducing your thermal or kinetic damage vulnerabilities, since explosive/EM on a pilgrim is already at 60% naturally, but kin/therm is only 44/35?)

Notes: = great tank, 7500 armour, good resists, can run all mods continously, and tbh unless you are insanely unlucky there is not a chance in hell that a BS/BC can beat you you unless they have a couple of heavy nos and ECCM (which NPCers don't tend to have)

Notes: Great mission setup, as long as you don't get too much aggro to start with. Pick off the frigs and cruisers at 55km with Aurora, then move in close and take out any Battleships at about 10km with Gleam. Easy as piss. - Wiggy

Notes: I tried this once on the SiSi test server and managed to tank 4 Drakes for close to 10 minutes with this. The only thing that tipped it over the edge was that someone turned up in a nossing Myrmidon and took all my cap. Maybe if T2 rigs come down to reasonable prices I'll try this on TQ :) - Wiggy

Notes: Pure gank damage setup, will obliterate cap rather quickly, but will do a very large amount of damage in a short time. No tank whatsoever.

Highs(8): 7x Megapulse II (or named for cap use/fit)

Mids(3): 1x Mwd II (named is fine for fit), 2x Sensor boosterII (needed for fast locking tbh, after all you need be dealing damage asap) OR 1x Sensor booster II, 1x Cap booster with 800's (due to abundance of nos boats around, and if it'll fit)

Lows(8): 1x Lar II (or MAR II for fit), 3x HS II (essential, faction if you've got dosh to burn), 2x CPR, 2x Tracking Enhancers
