Brum Bash

The Brum Bash is a non-LAN based event held in Yardley, Birmingham

Format

Brum Bashes usually consist of most people arriving midday on the Saturday. While the 5punkers wait for the rest of the group to converge on Birmingham, they drink booze and make merry, telling jokes, eating snacks, and watching terrible films. Once everyone is assembled and half of the attendees are inebriated, they head to a pub. There they drink some more, and make more merry, as merry is an important part of any event. Pub is often followed by some Indian/Chinese/Thai/Italian style buffet, delicious food is eaten. People begin to fall over, a few more drinks are usually sought after, and they all head back.

Day two consists of sore heads, quiet television, and the sound of sizzling bacon. A short debate on what sauce is appropriate on a bacon sandwich usually follows suit. By lunchtime people start to make plans to head home, and the leftover 5punkers mop up any last bread with a healthy dose of fish finger sandwiches.
