Ship fitting

OK, What I want to do here is post suggested ship fits. There's a thread here but it's really long and contains too much chatter so I thouyght it would be more approachable in a wiki format (and Berk keeps complaining that the Wiki is underused so let's show em that the EVE crew have something to offer). To start with, it'll be just this page, but it could be branched by ship class as (if) that becomes useful. As you will see, my publishing skills are teh suxxors so someone with talent please reformat it so it looks less like a 50's typed press release. Feel free to do as you will...I'll start

Ship; Dominix

Description; Tier 1 Gallente Battleship

Author; Bomber

Use; Ratting 0.0

Notes; This will tank pretty much any belt spawn so long as you have good cap skills and named cap chargers in the mids. I ran with 3x FB-10 and 2x Eutectics. I rekon you could drop one for an AB or drone mod if you use (ie can afford) T2 cap chargers. Carry a range of ammo for the guns to suit range (Lead will give you about 30km opt) but the majority of your damage output will come from your drones.

The Fit;

HIS; 4x 250mm dual rails, 1xTractor beam, 1x Salvager

MIDS; 5x Cap charger mods

LOWS; 1x LARII, 6x hardeners matched to the damage type you're ratting.

Drones; T2 Meds matched to the damage type you're ratting, T2 heavies if you have the skills

Ship; Thorax

Description; Tier 3 Gallente Cruiser

Author; Bomber

Use; small gang / Solo PvP

Notes; I am teh shit at PvP so don't come crying to me when you get blown up, mkay?. This fit, however, comes from the self declared legend Butter Dog and while his ego may be bigger than the Titan he aspires to, he does seem to know a thing or 2 about ship fitting. The one downer about this fit is it is pricey (about 11M loss after insurance, depending on the dmg ctrl and EANM you choose) so don't fly it unless you can afford to lose it.

The fit;

High: 5 Light Neutron Blaster II's with Void ammo

Mid: 10mn MWD, Stasis Web, Warp Scrambler

Low: 1600mm Tungsten Plate, Armor Exp Hard, EANM, Dmg Cntrl, MAR

Dronebay: 5 Valkerie
