The largest of the five main empires, the Amarr Empire is a sprawling patch-work of feudal-like provinces held together by the might of the emperor. Religion has always played a big part in Amarrian politics and the Amarrians believe they are the rightful masters of the world, souring their relations with their neighbours. Another source of ill-feelings on part of the other empires is the fact that the Amarrians embrace slavery.
Amarr are known as the tankers of the EVE universe. With their golden hulls and lazor beams, they'd rival RO-BO in sheer shinyness if only they didn't suck so damn much (compared to RO-BO).

Tackling Setup
Hi-slots: 2 x Dual Light Pulse Laser II, 2 x Named Rocket Launchers
Mid-slots: 1 x 1MN Microwarpdrive II, 1 x X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator, 1 x J5b Phased Prototype Warp Inhibitor I
Low-slots: 1 x Small Armor Repairer II, 1 x Micro Auxiliary Power Core, 1 x Capacitor Power Relay I
Notes: Decent tackle setup, but like any tackler is vulnerable to webbers and smartbombs. A good first interceptor, very versatile. - Wiggy

General PvP Gang Setup
Hi-slots: 4 x Heavy Pulse Laser II, 1 x Medium Diminishing Power System Drain
Med-slots: 1 x 10mn Afterburner II, 1 x Cap Recharger II, 1 x X5 Webifier OR J5b Scrambler
Low-slots: 1 x Medium Armor Repairer II, 1 x Best-named Capacitor Power Relay, 2 x Heat Sink II, 1 x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II, 1 x Energized Thermic Membrane II, 1 x Damage Control II
Notes: Good Heavy Assault Ship as long as you're not expecting to take hostile fire for too long. Has a reasonable tank and brilliant damage output. Best utilised in a gang with a couple of tacklers and maybe an interdictor if you're in 0.0. - Wiggy

Expensive Level 4 Mission Setup
Hi-slots: 6 x Heavy Beam Laser II, 1 x Advanced 'Limos' Heavy Missile Bay
Mid-slots: 1 x Domination 10mn Afterburner, 1 x Cap Recharger II, 1 x True Sansha Stasis Webifier
Low-slots: 1 x Corpum A-type Medium Armor Repairer, 1 x True Sansha Capacitor Power Relay, 1 x True Sansha Heat Sink, 1 x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II, 3 x T2 Mission-specific Hardeners
Rigs: 2 x Capacitor Control Circuit I
Notes: Great mission setup, as long as you don't get too much aggro to start with. Pick off the frigs and cruisers at 55km with Aurora, then move in close and take out any Battleships at about 10km with Gleam. Easy as piss. - Wiggy
Damnation
Experimental Triple-Rep Setup
High-slots: 4 x Heavy Missile Launcher II, 3 x Medium Diminishing Power System Drain
Med-slots: 4 x Cap Recharger II
Low-slots: 3 x Medium Armor Repairer II, 1 x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II, 1 x Energized Thermic Membrane II, 1 x Damage Control II
Rigs: 2 x Capacitor Control Circuit I
Notes: I tried this once on the SiSi test server and managed to tank 4 Drakes for close to 10 minutes with this. The only thing that tipped it over the edge was that someone turned up in a nossing Myrmidon and took all my cap. Maybe if T2 rigs come down to reasonable prices I'll try this on TQ :) - Wiggy

Pure Gankageddon for gang use
Highs(8): 7x Megapulse II (or named for cap use/fit)
Meds(3): 1x Mwd II (named is fine for fit)
2x Sensor boosterII (needed for fast locking tbh, after all you need be dealing damage asap) OR 1x Sensor booster II 1x Cap booster with 800's (due to abundance of nos boats around, and if it'll fit)
Lows(8): 1x Lar II (or MAR II for fit) 3x HS II (essential, faction if you've got dosh to burn) 2x CPR 2x Tracking Enhancers
Notes: Pure gank damage setup, will obliterate cap rather quickly, but will do a very large amount of damage in a short time. No tank whatsoever. - buzzmong
