Right some of you might know that i am making a CoD:UO map, the first playable version was on the server these last couple of days. It looks ugly and it did not have any detail and contained many bugs.... So i started again, but bigger, better and more interesting to play. So the purpose of this thread is for me to show you what i;m up to and for you to tell me what you want to see or what you dont like so far ;)

Right here is a little comparison between the old and new versions, these are still very basic but show the basic structure. Oh and the new ones dont have the upper level built yet ;)

Well I reckon you should keep the spazz wall

But seriously, bigger sounds like a good idea, and maybe less 'square', with some rooms or corridors off the main bit

The old version I played on Bukkake last night made for a great DM map, so I'm looking forward to playing the finished version. I would suggest a couple of spawn points on the very top level, but other than that it played great.

But leave the Spazzwall ;)

Ooh, and can it have an Aids Cannon(TM)?

Ooooh, those screenshots look nice.

Instead of an Aids Cannon can we have a Tetanus Cannon that shoots rusty nails?

Okey Dokey, first corner complete :D

And talking about aids cannons, if any of you can model then i'll happily insert a static aids cannon as an easter egg :p

------------------UPDATE------------------

Now with upper layer :D

There are going to be all kinds of things on the top layer, such as girders, wooden boardwalks and platforms.

Still working on making it easier to get on to,at the moment you have to jump onto one of the sides then strafe.

Pfffft, like you're ever at ground level you monkey-ninja!

Ground will be the last thing ;) Going to make it compliment the raised bits, and have areas you can only reach from jumping down to :D

What I liked about the map is that the ground level is just as useful as the ninja positions. In fact, where 5punkers are involved, I tend to look for them in the harder to reach places and often completely miss people hiding round some large boxes on the floor.

Yeah definitely, some positions on the ground level that are out of view from ninja snipers would be very usefull

I'm really looking forward to playing this, although with all the walkways and wires and levels and stuff I suspect I might feel like a gerbil in a very elaborate cage ;)
