It's reassuring to know that the score's done. It's one less thing to delay it to Q1 2008... Looking forward to a bit of Bioshock now.

Hmm, I enjoyed destroy all humans, anal probing farmers etc was much fun. However, the music... cant remember a single bit of it, seem to recall at he time that it did fuck all in the way of helping atmospherics or building tension. I hope bioshock gets a far better score, although the material allows for it more than a 'mars attacks!' style game does.

I think the whole 50s Utopia setting will allow for some pretty memorable scoring. The music of that era shits me up badly enough as it is. I'm thinking all your old ballroom classics, warbling ladies etc. It obviously depends on the composer, but the era will have a(n) significant impact on the feel of the music.

I think it would be even better with 30's stuff like in fallout! Imagine being stalked by a big brother through a murky leaking part of the underwater city, with crackly speakers intermittently blurting something along the lines of some inkspots or ella fitzgerald, thats atmosphere!
