My Amazon order is "being prepared" apparently. At least there's something coming out this week, even if it's not new games.

My Mum bought me the first three HP books, back when there were only three, and it got me back into reading again, which I'd sort of neglected, so I feel a kind of fondess towards the series.

While the last two weren't for me as good as previous ones, it'll be nice to close the story off.

The Harry Potter films are rubbish. Fact.

The books are actually rather good, although the 6th was a bit pathetic.

They're readable, but a bit meh. Rowling is pretty shit at character development, and the stories lack any originality whatsoever. It's like chewing gum for the eyes.

I'll probably read the last one, like Jack says, I just want to close off the story. What are the odds though that she brings him for further books or a spin off type thing?

The mrs adores the books, so I will probably pinch the book off her once she's done. Im bloody omnivorous when it comes to reading. One day I'll be reading some mind bendingly complex book that the size of the bible, the next I will be reading some godawfully trashy fantasy/sci-fi romp. As long as it has words in, theres a fair chance I will read it.

I got so desperate for reading materials once that I did actually start reading the bible. I got to the bit in genisis with several pages of begats, then skipped to revelations. If you get the right translation, that bit is a damn good read, if fucking bonkers.

So you skipped from the world's creation to judgement day? It's not really a "see what happens at the end" type of book.

I thought about giving the Qur'an a go, and just reading the first few pages on Amazon was rather surpised to see a lot of characters in common, Adam, Moses, etc. Makes an outsider wonder what the centuries of war were all about.

I've decided to eschew my never-used dining room and create a library in my house, and major works like this will certainly have a place - perhaps side-by-side in my small contribution to world peace.

Well, due to my slightly wierd A level choices, I had already done the Gospel bits to death. And The Song of Solomon, because of classy lines like this:
