David Duchovny, one of the show's stars, has told reporters he will receive a script next week.

I can't decide if this is a good or bad thing.

However, I am quite sure it is a thing.

I never actually got around to watching the series. Wasn't there a film one already? I think I saw that.

Oh, I think I might have seen one ep at someone's house. They thought there was a werewolf, but it wasn't it was a dog. Bit rubbish I thought.

There was a film already.

Show was generally pretty good IMO. was certainly better earlier on though.

:above: This

I'll be quite looking forward to it. After all, it's sci-fi with aliens set in modern times.

Always mostly fun.

I Really hope they don't go for an alien/ufo/conspiracy based plot, they were often the weaker episodes.

And it would be nice if they kept the promise they made on the last series that it would answer 'All Your Questions' which not only did it not do, but it raised a whole load more!

:above: Fuck season 9 right in the socket. as far as i'm concerned, it didn't happen and should be ignored as much as possible

It was quite wank it must be said, and while Mulder and Scully had the whole sexual chemistry thing going on and really inspired the "will they won't they" thing, I really didn't give a fuck about Dogbert and Raymond and didn't care if they got it on or not

I only ever managed to watch parts of random eps of S9. it was too painful. (twss)

Everything up to the end of season 8 was pretty acceptable (though the stuff with mulder, rather than the T-1000 was considerably better)

Is David Duchovny's bank account if nearly empty?

I loved the X-Files series, mostly, but is this something that's best left in the 90s?

I dunno, because there is a load of stuff left open from the series that they could use, rather than dragging out a generic UFO/conspiricy theory designed to fill the bank accounts of all involved

*is looking forward to seeing this without a load of kids ruining it in the cinema as most of them won't know what the X-Files is*

I stopped watching the X Files after series 37 (well, it seemed like it went on for that long anyway). I actually really enjoyed the sort of spin off they did - Millennium (wasn't really a spin off, but you know what I mean).

Then he should resurrect the Red Shoe Diaries! I also rather enjoyed his role in season 2 of Twin Peaks...

Millennium! With the guy from alien playing a psychic who finds murdererers and stuff! Lars henriksson? Great stuff. I had the tune on my mobile for a bit, got replaced by axel f though. Got pulled by fox because it didnt instantly attract as many viewers as x-files, bunch of impatient cunts.
