Lots of you know I've been applying to the army over the last year, and some of you may have noticed a post I made on the disco board last week. Basicially, I got a phone call 8am wednesday (Ungodly time of day ) saying Hey, Richard, how are ya? Blah blah blah how would you like to start 2nd july?

Gut reaction was uh, wuh? But I went yes in the end, which means that instead of vanishing septermber 3rd, I vanish next week. In practise, it's even earlier than that, because I'm doing friend/family stuff from friday night onwards until sunday evening, then a decent night sleep and off early monday morning for 8 weeks (I think it's that long) to ATR Pirbright before I get a long weekend (that's gona be spend doing the RL friends/family stuff) then back down there till september. Then a week or twos break (At which point I'll be back ) before I'm off for phase 2 until february time.

Long story short, I'm going away, for a very long fucking time, I'm hoping I'll be back proper february, but that depends how much work I actually have to do when I get to my regiment (I've heard mixed things about that) which means potentially I'm AFK until next july/august

Fly safe guys, give Hobos shit for not sticking to plans (especially Lilan ) and don't let it get too serous (although some serous is good, it gets shit done)

For me I miss the army in some ways! like tho homie borther kinda thing. I dont know I think Ex service people will understand what i mean. Tho am happyer in some ways i left but too bad the civi cuture so different!

Also got a E-bluey yesterday from Iraq! which i was suprised! umm i think its still free from post office right?
