Right then, I think everyone knows I'm a strong believer that Shartak is a lot more open ended and more enjoyable to play, but I wondered what you lot think now we have all played both games for a long time.

Where's the "I like both games equally" button?

Personally I prefer Shartak as there is a much bigger exploration area, as well as variety of land and play. The ability to make signs and write <s>with our</s> WILLIES! in the sand is a big thumbs up and also new content seems to be added more frequently

For me the player driven world makes Shartak slightly better. I prefer the mechanics and setting of UD, but now that I've got two characters maxed out I just can't find anything more to do. In Shartak there's usually some player or group making life interesting.

I don't play Urban Dead, so I guess I prefer Shartak by default.

On a serious note though, I think we all need something else to play other than Shartak, as Urban Dead has pretty much lost interest for all of us now.

Might be worth some of us suggesting some other browser based games to try out, and we will give it a whirl, as Outbreak is fun for 5 mins, but gets repetitive and boring quickly

Actually I'm still playing it, but it's a bit boring - I've just saved loads of money and never attacked anyone, when I spend the cash on ships, my military score goes so high that I can't challenge anyone.

Urban Dead because it kept me entertained for much longer, Shartak is bigger but there's nothing in most of it.

Bored of both though, pluss less time to play at work now

I prefer Shartak because UD gets boring after maxing out and Shartak is updated a lot more often.

If you're looking for another browser based game then you might want to try Nexus War. I never got into it but it's quite popular.
