Industry Brief (5punkience, Nouveau Riche)

Post by friznit »

Organisation

Centeredgedesign (in game: Dres Kaneerden) is the Industry Director and oversees and coordinates all industrial output of 5punkorp.

Nouveau Riche: a wholly owned subsidiary corp with access to high end ores and ice in deep 0.0 Membership is open to all 5punkers and some former BUM members.

5punkience: privately owned sister corp, working in a business partnership with 5punkorp to provide R&D facilities in high sec empire.

Nouveau Riche (YUPPY)

NR is a non-alliance industry corp with access to high end ores and ice in a safe area of deep 0.0 The corp is specifically geared towards supporting the industry of 5punkorp.

Joining

Anyone in 5punkorp can join NR. For security reasons 5punkorp members are not allowed to the mining areas and NR members should avoid 5punkorp frontline areas of operation.

HQ: Bourynes VII - Moon 2 - University of Caille School (Sinq Laison)
Office: Masanuh V - Moon 8 - Ishukone Corp Factory (Kor-Azor)

Getting to J8 Constellation

Put VQE-CN into your autopilot, grab something fast and run like hell. Standings are set for BoB, FIX, MC and their allies.

Moving Your Stuff

Low Sec RV: Chamemi VI - Moon 1 - Royal Khanid (Very quiet 0.4 system but no office available)

1. All necessary equipment will be carrier jumped down. Moves wil be scheduled as required.

2. The NR carrier will move ships up to and including bc size. I'll do as many runs as it takes to get everything shifted.

3. Please prepare all equipment for jumping in clearly labelled GSC's or ship cargoholds (e.g. barges). Labels must include your Main's char name. Incorrectly labelled items will not be accepted. No haulers please - they're too big and we can build any T1 hauler on site.

4. It is advisable to keep a full manifest in the event of accidental repackaging.

5. All equipment must be moved to CHAMEMI (0.4) and traded/contracted to Feafalas.

Rules

* You can mine anywhere in 1-N, VQE or the ice belt in Y-C
* All refining must be done in the Y-C refinery
* 10% of all income should be paid to the corp fund (this is voluntary)
* You can NPC & explore anywhere in J8 except L5D. Outside of J8 is travel rights only.
* MC members take precedence on all activities
* L5D is OUT OF BOUNDS

Corp Details

CEO: Manorina (Friz)

Alliance Equipment Loan Pool (sponsored by 5punkorp)

We'll be bringing the stuff listed below for general use. We'll also be bringing a selection of ammo, exploration probe, crystals and module bpc's. Later on we'll have a ship array and be able to make haulers and T1 barges on site. We aim to be as self sufficient as possible, thereby only requiring one carrier jump a month max for NPC POS fuels.

(Barges & Haulers come with complete T1 fit)

2 Covetor
2 Retriever
2 Iteron 5
2 Iteron 4
2 Bestower
2 Badger 2
2 Mammoth
30 Shuttles

20 x T1 Mining Crystals (All relevant types)
20 x T2 Mining Crystals (All relevant types)
100 x T1 Mining Drones
6 x MDCM2
3 x T1 Ice Harvesters

Initial POS Setup:

1 Ship Maint Array
1 Hangar Array (General Use)
1 Hangar Array (POS Fuel Only)
Ammo Assembly Array
Rapid Eqpt Assembly Array

Future additions:

Ship Assembly Arrays
Drone Assembly Array

More Important Info

What we get:

* Full mining rights in 1-N and VQE, and ice belts in Y-C and 8K. Nowhere else. I know EIMJ is -0.9 and shiny but no, we can't mine there. Don't even ask.
* Non-sov POS in VQE allowed (no moon mining, but all the good harvestable moons are taken anyway)
* Can dock at stations in 1-N, Y-C and EIMJ
* We'll get an office in 1-N and JC rights.
* We can NPC and explore unless an MC member is there first or wants to take over (we basically don't have npcing/exploration rights, but if they're not around they'll turn a blind eye)
* MC will buy all our mins at empire prices, esp if we get a nice mix (they particularly like lots of low ends for the cap ship building)

Taxes:

* 20 - 25% refinery tax (MC still deciding on the final number)
* 10% BUM Alliance tax. There's no way to enforce this with game mechanics, just relying on your honesty. It'll go towards funing PvP ships, modules and cap ships for all alliance members.
* We'll occasionally run 100% alliance ops, and once a month or so we'll run a Nouveau Riche corp op to fund pos fuel and stuff if it's needed. The rest of the time it's up to you where the remainder goes, but if a particular corp needs a quick inject of cash I'm sure we can work together to achieve it.

Rules:

* L5D is Out of Bounds completely. Do not even look.
* No exploring, mining, npcing outside J8 constellation. Travel rights only.

* Give way to MC in any arguments or contestation
* Be polite, we're the guests
* Don't abuse their hospitatality. Anyone I even suspect of screwing it up will be booted out of NR and I will think very carefully before letting them back in 5punkorp. You have been warned.
* Any issues or trouble with the locals, back down then let me or Steamy know

Hostiles:

Most likely hostiles are the usual crowd: AAA, S-E, Xenowotsit dudes, IAC and sometimes Goons.

Here's one that should make Quin happy:

MC get through 750k helium isotopes, 500k LO and HW, and as much stront as you care to mention each month. They'll buy the lot off us at empire prices if we mine it for them, probably with buy orders too which is very convenient.

There's an ice belt in the refinery system with Enriched Clear Icicle and Krystallos (best for stront), and if needed there's Dark glitter one jump away.

I could be wrong, but iirc glare crust is better. Krystallos is still incredably good though.

Updated the OP to reflect the change in emphasis towards 5punk industry. It's rather nice how we seem to have come by this top notch mining facility in the middle of MC space, and all for little old 5punk.

And don't you dare suggest I planned for this eventuality in advance. I'll deny everything :P

Just wondering if we want to move the large ship array down to build BS's for use in DS's if we scan down anything shiny.

The corp now has a Raven BPO and a ton of BS BPC's. Thanks Miro! We'll be adding the Megathron BPO soon (this weekend?), dependant upon shipping security and playtime.
The Raven BPO is already researched though, so allows for immediate construction vs. the Megathron BPO that will take some time for research.

Good point, Dolly, I should order some copies up for invention, so we're ready. Isn't that patch scheduled for November? I was hoping we'd have the Megathron BPO in decent shape for inventing by then as well.

Who can come mining this weekend? We need to mine a bit of ice for our hosts out there, and mineral mining for individual wallet lining is more fun in groups so we can max those bonuses and stuff!

I'll be on for a little bit after DT, but not alot of guarantee after that since my daughter is home this weekend. Hopefully I can get her to eat breakfast and play on her PC next to mine, so when she has questions I don't have to go afk.

Aye, Blackops sound fun and sneaky, could bring a whole new angle to pvp!
Everyone is primarily PVP though we all have sideline industrial alts/ventures/members/projects we just haven't really started to collaborate on projects yet.
Do we want to toss out the idea of corp-insured BS's to these guys? Or wait a bit until we're producing comfortably and can fill their needs at mate's rate, yet still making profit?
