We're likely to trial our first 'real' spider rep fleet sometime this weekend, most likely against Sylph or NOS. Everyone who is available will be required to attend in your 5punkfleet bs, correctly fitted as per the masterplan.

I know corp ops would usually supercede Alliance ops unless there's a CTA, and this isn't a CTA, but we need to prove this concept works, spank Sylph and it'll be bloody good fun too. Need all the people we can get, so think of it as a 'you're online, you come along' op...about 1% less than compulsory. 2 Line Whip. That sort of thing.

so after all the warnings, build up, practics, corp ships, help and assistance, we've managed me, rabbit and Jimmy in the gang.

/me feels disgraced, spent two hours fitting ship, and ended up doing house stuff. Sorry mates, I really wanted to come to learn how this works for future use on evening (US) ops.

How did it go?

It was a fun gang. We started by spanking a domi in Assah (0.4 sec it ) and melted a few ships as we wandered around, before pinning a Sylph fleet in IS-. We decided to give it a go, and jumped our 15 into a gang of 30. Not many of us survived.

Sylph don't call primary, just shoot randomly and so it's hard to rep against them. And we were heavily outnumbered so it all went a bit wrong. We're going to do it again on Sunday and this time not pick such an optimistic target
