from what I have heard, this Lost Coast map will be a beast, as far as specs go.

preliminary specs: 3.2GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and (this is just my guess) Radeon x600/GeForce 6600 and up.


whereas the HDR-Bloom mod runs pretty much the same as regular HL2 on my box...


I bet the real HDR lighting will look better (the HDR-Bloom mod is not true HDR lighting)

Well I'm ready: 3500 AMD, 1GB RAM, nvdia 6800 and 1.21 gigawatts

On a side note, I read today that HL2 for the xbox is up for a summer release and will have "Improved lightning effects - It looks better than on the PC". And I thought we wouldn't see HL2 until xbox2.

Only if I put it in my car, then it disappears and I have to wait 2 weeks for it to rematerialise. Great Scott! Libyans, etc
