FIX FOR EVEMON 1.1.8.571
CCP have disabled EveMon XML requests by detecting which application is requesting the XML.
Replace:
EVEMon.Common.dll
EVEMon.Common.pdb
with my files from here [
http://killboard.fatherjack.net/evemonfix.zip ]
and it will spring into life.
I am basically pretending to be firefox which CCP is happy to give the XML file to.
Usual bollocks about use this at your own risk, etc.
I was just pissed at losing a lot of training time because EveMon wasn't working.
Enjoy
Keep this just in 5punk, it's not illegal or anything (it's all open source) but we don't want it becoming popular so the nerf this also.

Oh and the app will work exactly the same as before in every way.
It will even auto-update to the new version when they release it.

It works with the latest release version only.
I've added to the top post: FIX FOR EVEMON 1.1.8.571
You'll need to download the latest stable release and use my bodge on that.

Right, that's where I'm going wrong then - I'm using the beta version. I'll have a go with it in a bit when I've finished my tea

Why'd CCP nerf it in the first place?

What the bandwith usage was doing to the web server, or something like that.

CCP have changed the way it works now though, instead of downloading the entire XML thing it'll only download the currently training skill, next version of evemon will support the new system.

I've been through the code M, and compiled it myself. They don't do anything with the info and they encrypt your password adequately. EveMon is safe.
