Mr grim grim, do you have a means of playing such media on your TV? I could load up my xbox HDD with stuffs and bring that if you like.

All we have is a bog standard TV.

I'd say stick with proper dvds, it shouldn't be too hard for a few of us to bring a couple, and it'd be a *lot* less hassle than fucking about setting crap up for what's likely to be a few hours of drunken watching.

its not exactly hard. plug into scart. turn on.

plus we can play games etc as well.
