As several of you will know I have been playing around on the markets and attempting to build up money this way but it has not been nearly as successful as I would have hoped so my question is this:

How would be the best way to make isk (I am willing to invest) and can anyone point me in the direction of any share investments/ stockbroker type people and guides as I want other people to make my money for me

How much isk do you have to play with first off?

I tend to make mine either selling loot (which with fighting goonies is easy to get and plentiful, just about got enough squirelled away for another tempest), ripping lv4 missions appart in a maelstrom/sleipnir, doing the same with silver in a raven, probing down mag sites in 0.0 or running complexes. lv4s give the most reliable isk an hour for me (10 mil easy), but if I get lucky in 0.0 with a mag site I get one of those 1/4 billion isk skillbooks plus usually 30-40 mil in salvage. Now i've got archaelogy 4 I should be able to rip oper the harder cages in those sites as well and get T2 rig BPCs from them too. There's also alot to be said for cheap rig component buy orders

Until May (about the 10th I think), about 1.4b but I can't put a precise figure on it as I have buy orders up and things for sale.

I think the mission route sounds favorite for now as I have finally got to lvl 3's with the Corporate Police so I should be able to get to 4's quickly enough (by which time I will be in my command ship )

Ay, just be aware that a nighthawk alone with cost you 190-200 for the ship with another 100 easy for fittings (Assuming T2. You are fitting it with T2/faction arn't you?)

As much as I can I know it will pretty much clean me out but it will allow me to solo properly on lvl4's and the like

(and will also allow me to be a dangerous bastard when we PvP although I will try and make up at least some of the balance first before taking it along that road )

Oooh, blind suggestion: Go talk with dolly, and run missions with him. Less risk, same reward

Once I can get the level 4's myself I certainly will do but i've just had to lug my raven 22 jumps or so to get to this lvl3 so im gonna get my monies worth

Nighthawk: 50mill for the skill, 175mill for the ship, 150 - 200mill for fittings depending how much of it is faction/deadspace. I spent around 180mill on fittings all told, though I'm still waiting for the blasted Pithum A-Type Mag Scattering Amp to fall off auction

I don't think I will be spending quite that much straight off but I can't use T2 heavy launchers yet which will be the prime cause but I have the skill book and I should be able to recycle some of the fittings from my Raven while I build the isk back up (at which point I will probably splash out on the LP boosting skills if I am still mission running by that point)

You can't use T2 heavys, and you buying a highthawk?

yes, I am training for them at the moment. And in the meantime I shall be using civilian rocket launchers

A cheap buy order at the right place will fill you up on the more precious bits, just toss a buy order up where there's an agent that gives a random blood raider kill mission out for those rare bits you need for the cap booster rigs, (tis what I done, now I have enough for 2 rigs, which sell for 30 mil each, cost me about 5 mil I thinks). I'm farming the rest of the bits, but I plan to use these two. But production/sale ftw!

Also, anyone that can be on about 9PM middle US time, I just got a level 4 gallente agent, skipped the first mission because it was low sec, but the second one was World's collide! So anyone near Jel tonite, (really late for you UKers, I know) I'd really really appreciate any help you could give!

Yak, sounds like you and I are about in the same place. I'm whoring the L3 in Berta and just got a 10-part SL mission which I rekon will get me the L4 security agent in Tidacha, then my income stream should be secured.

It's hit me pretty hard being shoved back to empire, but all will be good soon.

and I'm only 10-15D from Recon :D
