So which ones would you spend your beer tokens on?

Personally I hate battles between consoles. I'm happy just to enjoy all consoles, and be happy for it. I'll take both ;)

PSP Rocks, DS Sucks.

Thats my opinion, and the games for the PSP will be MUCH better, like the gamecube and PS2, I can't really think of 2 many gamecube games that are any good.............(I'm not saying there aren't any, just not as many as the Sony)

Squinty

I'd choose a Full English breakfast over them, any day.

The reason the PSP will beat the DS is games.

The PSP will have more games available immediately after launch that the DS has now.

and this.

I suspect it will be similar to the PS2 vs Gamecube thing. You've got to jump through all the hoops for Nintendo to say "yes", so most games making people thing "bugger that for the proverbial game involving fighting men" and make things for platforms with looser controls, like X-box and PS2.

Or PC, of course :)

Meh

Fuck it, I'll have both!

I've never understood the console wars, They all have their positives & negatives. I currently own a GC, DS, PC and am buying an Xbox this week. Purely because I like games, in any shape and form (apart from mind games that girls play, not half as much fun as Warioware: Touched or Halo). So I say both!

I wouldn't like to rule any format out really. Does that make me weak and non-committal?

Nope, I agree with everything you said, but it does seem to look like the majority of gamers would buy a PSP

i think nintendo's market is different

nintendo is a load of drunk/stoned mates playing some fucking mental game.

playstations are more play gran turismo 17 or Final Fanstasy 17, then tell your mates and show off.

PS2's verison of a game targeted at drunks/stoners - EYE toy =D

I just see Nintendo basing themselfs mostly on kiddy games.

Plus. PSP's graphics & specs pwn.

Exactly. But I don't look at it as a console war. It's turning into a "Console-user war". Which I prefer, because it means I can buy everything and not care, but I still get to give PS2/PSP users shifty looks.

*Gives PS2/PSP users shifty-looks*

I played a DS in GAME yesterday. Well, at least, I would have, but thanks to Game's kindly idea of removing the stylus, I was unable to get past the main touch-screen menu....

However, it's a lot smaller than I thought, which is a plus.
