How does one record a Demo in CS:S? I've seen some really bitchin' situations where having recorded a demo would've been most epic. Also, once I get this demo made, how can I export it as another movie?

to record a demo: type 'record demoname' in console where demoname is the name you want to give the demo

to Stop a recording: type 'stop' in console.

demos will be stored in your C:/program files/steam/steam aps/youremail@email.com/Counterstrike Source/cstrike directory.


easiest way to avi would be using a copy of fraps* - easy to get to avi, but cripples the game, so best used to record the demo when you're watching it again.
