Bournemouth Gaming Weekend

Hi guys, as mentioned previously me and some friends are throwing a games weekend down in Bournemouth.
We've hired a nice big house with enough to sleep 15 (or more considering a lot of people don't make it to the beds) and game room with full size pool table and enough wall space for 2 projectors side by side.

We've hired it for the weekend of the 13th of April - Friday to Monday.

Our numbers are falling a little on the the low side, with 5 confirmed and 6 "possibles" and me and a friend have paid almost £800 upfront for the house that weekend, so I'd like to throw it open to 5punkers to beef up the numbers (as well as hopefully bring in a little extra revenue so we don't end up seriously out of pocket!). I've enjoyed my time on this forum already and you seem a good bunch (apart from Berk, he's a right bastard ;) )

So far we will be concentrating on Wii gaming, 360, MAME and even have a PS3 (which will be handy to keep that kitchen door propped open) And of course loads of booze and other entertainment. But PC's and laptops for gaming will be there and more welcome too.

The cost for the accommodation will be £40 per person per night. You will get a proper bed for your money.
Some food and drink may be provided, although we will do a whip round for booze, snacks and if Chris decides to do one of his famous chillies.

Although this fee will drop proportionally if we get more than 10 people and therefore cover the cost we've laid out, please understand that this is not a "for profit" venture, this is a "we want a weekend gaming" venture for friends and friendly people - me and Chris organising will be paying entry fee's just like everyone else (if we're lucky!).

So if you like drinking, smoking (all smoking is outside though - if raining or cold it will be confined to the small porch-like room with the porch doors open - "herbal" smoking is welcome too though), gaming and generally having a laugh then please reply to this thread (or PM me if you are shy) and we'll look about having you all along. :)

Sounds excellent, but I'm afraid I can't make it mate.

I'm sure some fo the 5punkers here would be up for it, providing they can travel that far.
I live in Bristol so Bournemouth isn't too far, but for a lot of 5punkers it might turn out to be too far away

Shame.. Funny really we chose Bournemouth this and last year because it's halfway between the two main bunches of people that were attending. Bristol and London.

Now most of the Bristol lot have dropped out this year, bunch of pansies that they are....

Any more for any more???

Remember - this very big house filled with beer and all kinds of tech for a weekend of gaming and drink.. Who can refuse?

From 350 miles away and with an empty bank account, I can refuse! :) All my spare money from this week's paycheque is going towards a Glastonbury ticket I hope. Sounds like a fun idea though.
