stop don;t buy rig bpo till you talk to me. a lot of the rigs we will never use so no point in buying them now. I have been buying the bpo on a need basis. a lot of people have not trained up for rigs. also talk to me later about rigs i'll fill u in on some info.

the one rig i need always is Burned Logic Circuit - you get them from blood, sanasha and amarr wrecks mainly. those are what the ccc rigs need (plus 2 others but that is the one i am always short on) Guristas do shield rigs and angels cargo rigs. now of course they always give some other rigs from other races but those are the main ones.

salvager's - lose the destroyers, seriously. you going to salvage loot the wrecks as well. you don't want it give to corp, corp needs all mins and you get a nice little amount of everything. i had enough mins from Saturday to build my navy apoc on Sunday. so your gonna want a cruiser with as many high slots as possible. i for example salvage in a maller with dolly and a domi with kenny. each one is 3 salvager's 3 tractor beams ship, ab for domi (salvages while i kill) mwd for maller (mission is over so no more deadspace issues) rest cap recharger's, cargo expanders (i use T2 but any will do) and then 3 salvage rigs. that set up gets my salvage on the 1st or 2nd try 99% of time, 10 MN MWD with all cargo expanders puts me about the 500m/s mark so out-flying wrecks is not an issue. That maller salvager I got since its all T2 cost close to 100mil thats cool but an overkill, 20-30mil is about norm starting without your ship.

When you kill ships in a mission they immediately show as grey, am I right that if you salvage someone else's when they're marked yellow that you're tagged as an ore thief?

know you wouldn't be classified as a ore thief but thief yes.
is it a concord punishable offense no.
can some one shoot you that you steal from yes.
is salvaging someone elses wreck cinsidered stealing yes.
if a wreck is salvageable it will be a wreck if not its a can.
you can tractor beam any corp mates cans.
you can only tractor beam non corp mates cans when in gang and they are there with you. (found that out last night)
a wreck with loot will have upside down triangle solid where the latar will have a triangle outline.

I do not think you can salvage from someone else's wreck, I've tried and said something about not being in that person's gang, or had high enough standings. I also salvage all my mission wrecks and build my own rigs, I have a few bpos also. I have tons of the burned circuits, I'm always short on the Fried circuit interfaces, which maybe the other one you are talking about Dolly, I know they are used in most of the rigs I built.

I find a catalyst (gallente destroyer) works really well narf.

I have 4 tractor beams, 4 salvagers, t1 AB, some cap recharge modules and a 400m3 cargo hold. Cap never ever runs dry, I can do 500m/s+ and I could always add cargo expanders if needed - tho I haven't had to yet. I have grid and cpu left so I could prolly even MWD it if I had the skills on that char.

Cruisers would work ok but you don't have all the high slots you get with a destroyer.

If cargo hold space was ever a problem I would just not pick up the cap booster charges - they're the only bulky item you get.

I plan on getting some salvaging rigs to slap in it also.

that is fine and dandy only for salvaging. come loot rogue drone harassment and infiltrated outpost lvl 4, 1300-1400m3 loot (which is alloy or your pay) and salvage, u would need to do 3 trips. god forbid it be 3 jumps away.

everyone will have their favorites thats for sure. i choose no smaller than cruiser cause of the cargo hold. play around and find what works for you best
