Should I count trainers or just proper shoes?

4 pairs of trainers
1 pair of running shoes
3 pairs of dress shoes
2 pair of boots
and a pair of Construction Boots

Edit oh forgot 2 pairs of flip flops

Er, 1 nice black pair for work, 1 pair of skate shoes for general use, 1 pair of brown leather ones for going out, and a pair of walking boots.

I have four pairs of trainers, only one of which do not have holes. I did have a pair of shoes, but discovered on taking them out earlier this year that the rubber soles had perished.

So, none. Didn't stop me voting "I'm a woman" though.

As for me:

1 x Diesel brown leather trainer jobs
1 x Diesel brown suede, green leather jobs
2 x smart leather work shoes that can also be used for going out
1 x brown leather shoes, mostly going out type things
1 x stompy boots
2 x white Nike sports (ha!) type trainers
and probably some others languishing at the bottom of the wardrobe that have never seen the light of day but seemed like a good idea at the time of purchase

Best pair of trainers I ever owned were navy suede things with a Union flag emblazoned on the side - they were fucking ace (better even than the ones that had a flashing LED in the heel when I was 8 ). Wore them so much they disintegrated. Ah well.
