Just tried to login to htkl on shartak

Code: Select all

This character has been disabled because of abuse. Please contact Simon using the feedback link for more information.
I suspect it's mostly to do with my profile saying the colonial police are cunts. :)

To be fair you were only asking a question "Don't like the colonial police?
think they're a bunch of cunts?" - I think you should appeal, say you've seen the error of your ways.

Then you can go back to murdering the cunts.

I think CP have been badgering the poor bloke to ban you (and probably all of us). The swearing might have done it, but I'd petition for at least a more detailed explanation.

Actually, it was more because I've received a number of complaints about zerging in a way that isn't being picked up automatically. I will unblock the account for now but please change the way you play Shartak.

Isn't zerging when you have many accounts and use them all together?

yup.

to be fair i may have worked out how to run 3 at a time in one space.

That besides, merely complaining long and loud enough, without any evidence whatsoever, is enough to get an account blocked? Riiiight.

"Dear Simon, I have my concerns about a certain player called Kenwendy. Now I don't have any proof but..."

:ahoy:

I've actually just written a nice long email covering the 2 easy ways of zerging in shartak, it'll probably get most of my chars banned, but it'll fuck the CP in the sockets.

The email. (also, if any 5punkers have got loads of money recently, share it with other 5punkers as they need it)

Thanks.

Seeing as you've been kind, i'll try to explain how to do it.

Basically you just need a bit more space on the whole cursing thing.

currently it's possible to keep chars a few squares apart while performing actions (such as killing people) and them not get cursed. so you can attack someone, leave to a few squares away, then run in with an alt and attack more. I've only done this once or twice, but it works.

Also you should consider logging more than one IP at a time, for example i can use 2 seperate IPs to zerg, but I (and most other people) aren't smart enough to remember which IP uses which account, so often what'll happen is that i login on charA and IP1 / charB IP2 one day, then the next day i'll use charA & IP2 /charB IP1. Obviously i can zerg like this currently (but oddly enough, don't), if you were to log say 2-3 recent IPs for zerg-spotting you'd eradicate this situation (which i suspect is fairly common among those who have more than 1 way to access the internet)

However, in my defense, the people complaining (the colonial police) are 1) a bunch of twats, 2) Wrong.

I've never actively engaged in true zerging as a method of getting more AP in shartak, my 2 main accused chars ("here to kill lacuna" and "here to kill lacuna.") as htkl is actively hunted by members of the colonial police, i created a second char called htkl.to act as a whipping boy. htkl. is merely left in areas heavily populated by the CP to keep them occupied.

This way, the dumber members of the colonial police attack htkl. and allow htkl to get on with seeking ammo and killing CP members.

In short, I know how to zerg, but don't. (also, have a look at Kjendlie / retribution of york, i believe they use the first method i referred to (along with other members of the CP and their non-CP alts)

Please reply if you need any clarification on the methods.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
