Capital Component BPOs

Info for future reference. They do seem to make a fairly good return. Average investment around 1bill, research to ME30, and copies sell for approx 1.5mill each. That's about 135 x 5 runs copies to sell before you break even assuming you never build anything with it (bearing in mind you need several copies to build a single ship, see below for more details). I see a lot of contracts for 4 x 5 run BPC's in Jita for around 30mill which sell quite well, or you can be more specific and sell complete BPC 'packs' for around 400mill. Drone Bay BPO's are very popular because the build uses a lot more (most cap ship builders own two for this reason). But of course this means they're more common and don't sell so fast.
Incidentally, SUH and Lyrus are planning to put together a full set of carrier, dread and freighter BPOs (around 35bill all told). Lyrus has asked if anyone would be interested in going into partnership with them and sharing BPO's. I've said that I like the idea in principle, either as a corp, as individuals or both. Using an extension of the original ISSHI plan it would be mutually profitable. You'd need to be reliable and accessible - they key to capital production is timely supply of components since one missing component can screw it up for everyone.
Costs:
Carrier/Dread BPOs sell for between 1 and 1.5 bill. Research to ME 1 take about a month.
