Right, thought I had better explain things on here, or else I'll have endless popups in Xfire explaining the same thing.

Somebody who worked for the support team at my hosting company had decided to copy this site, by registering both the http://www.5punk.com & http://www.5punk.net domains.

This in itself I cannot complain about, as you all know, website domains are open to the public, and it;s first come first served.

Unfortunately it didn't stop there, he actually copied the whole idea/design of 5punk and it's forum.

To see what I mean, take a look at this site, which is no longer redirected by the .com/.net addresses. http://rstips.obisam.com/phpbb4/

This guy had then PM'd me after the forum had already been set up for some time, asking me if I want to let him be a sister site for 5punk

I've told the MD of my hosting company about this, and he has responded in the proper manner, and the guy who did this has been dismissed, and the 2 domains are no longer hosted on my hosting companies servers.

As you can imagine, this has pissed me off quite a bit, and unfortunately I "think" this may have been the cause of the "smellylol" user who has just spammed abusive/racist comments across the forums earlier this evening.

If you notice anything untoward going on, then please e-mail/pm/xfire me straight away as I would like to know about it.
Have you recieved spam/abusive/racist PM's from the above person, or anyone else for that matter???

Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, and I hope nothing like this happens in the future.

Ok, lets try this again, you used your privileged position to gain access to the data (ie, information about this site, even that you knew it existed)

any communication that went on between you and Woo Elephant Yeah shows you had/have intent to rip of his itellectual property (ie, this site, what's being done with it)

you also copied the name and used the same template, that's just taking the piss.
