POS. We all know the advantages and disadvantages and have discussed them ad nauseam so please refrain from repeating yourself here. This is a summary of the decisions so far:

5punkorp will not be putting up a manufacturing POS yet.

5punkorp will not be putting up a deathstar in BWF or 8MJ unless ordered to by management, in which case it will be an ISS owned tower.

5punkorp will consider putting up a temporary small tower as a ratting/mining base during corp ops.

These options will be reviewed within the next month once we see how we get on. We will therefore hold on to all POS parts, fuel and stront until we finalise that decision

Fw4ppers (i.e. Dres) has offered to run a small/medium tower for research purposes. No need for production as there are lots of factories nearby.

I'm about to anchor a temp small tower in Maila for jumping cap ships in. This will be paid for with my own isk.

I currently use a guy in Jita to research my BPO's at roughly 1 mil per day of research. If I can use fw4ppers for the same cost this should go some way to paying for the fuel.

Cool, will have to work out whether we are definitely going that route or not, where it will go, and quite alot of other stuffs first. I fear much of the 'Fw4ppers' involvement came about because I was playing with the POS of Doom sheet while at work to figure out a fit for a Caldari tower, (because if we do put up a tower for Fw4ppers, I want them involved in helping mine ice to fuel it, and I believe Caldari ice grows around there, so a Caldari tower would be the best. We currently don't have much of what would be required to do this, nor does Fw4ppers have deep pockets to do this with.

Now, having said that, a Medium Caldari tower should hold 3 labs just fine, that's 9 or 12 slots (forgive me, I'll try to edit that when I'm sure of them) for material and time research. That's worth alot in that market, and if rented out, could probably make money for Fw4ppers. Of course, the lab we currently have is owned by Spearmint Man, but the corp could almost afford one of those, and maybe a rich type person would rent tower space from us to throw one of their own up or something.

JUST SPECULATION at this point, as we don't have a caldari tower, and we sold all our Amarr fuel. So Fw4ppers is a good distance from putting up any tower, and that would require a corp op that has not been discussed at all. In fact, I'm a little concerned with lack of other Fw4ppers posting lately.[/u]

Probably nothing to do with this...but I have purchased a small Caldari tower, and stuck it in Tabbetzur (jump in point for carriers). So Fea, if you could get one of your cyno alts to hoth, then I have Sharon in Tabbetzur so we can jump up tonight...
