Ok guys, can we get another type of Ratt that isnt resistant to EM damage?!
Guristas Conquistador = 60% armor em damage resistance.

It isn't so bad. I was ratting last night with only EM damage (all my raven had on it) and they go down easy enough.

They are very noisey to kill tho, you get about 5 missiles hitting you every second which is way more than sanchas, etc.

Think I'll stick with Sansha's. In other news, my little investment in salvaging paid off on my first attempt, I managed to collect 1.2M worth of stuff from the first ship I blasted, which paid for the skill and is much-needed cash ATM.

If you only have lvl 1 salvaging I really recommend bumping it up to lvl2, it made a huge difference for me

I did some salvage last night from a lvl 4 mission I did - I reckon I got about 30mil worth of salvage

so recommended fit would now include at least 1 salvager and 1 tractor beam in the his?

If your not going to gimp your killy abilities too much, sure.

s'what I do and it works out very nicely... sadly I need to restart my stock of things as I had my collection of rig parts in the hold of my raven last night

depending on the mission this is what i normally get for salvaging. salvage lvl 3

The Blockade lvl 4 - 250-300 rig components (mainly cap and armor rigs)
Angel Extrav lvl 4 - 200-275 rig component (cargo and a variety of others)
Gurista Extra lvl 4 - 200-275 rig components (missile, shield and others)
Rogue Drones lvl 4 - 150-250 rig components (variety of them)

Domi fit can easilty drop another turret. Vast majority of damage is done by the drones anyway.

Gives me something to train next week to go with my shiney new T2 heavies :D

If running a level 3, I fit two tractors and two salvagers on my domi. Once I have aggro, the drones do the mission, and I salvage. Makes for pretty quick isk, since it's not as hard to tank as a level 4, and you salvage alot quick.
