Make it open-world and I'll buy it.

From what I have heard you will be buying it then.
Also, GTA5 for PC this Autumn apparently. Despite having bought it and completed it on the 360 I will probably grab it again.

I'm waiting for an excuse to get a PS4 (and a new TV). I hope they change the horrible control system.

So far so "meh"
I heard the latest CoD would have jetpacks and got a bit excite and then I realised it is CoD and I got all "meh" again.
Battlefield Hardline? Meh, those fuckers burned their goodwill ticket with all the fucking payments required from 3 onwards and a failure to patch sufficiently.
The Division, still excite but notthing really new being heard from those guys and, well, it's Ubisoft - that does put me off a LITTLE bit.
Grim Fandango, I would love to see remastered and back on the PC. Not the fucking PlayStation, but this:

yes but Fan Grimdango isn't a good enough excuse on that format.
Destiny still not destined for PC. cupcake bags.

Tim Schafer was giving the impression that the PS4/Vita thing was just for the beginning, as the speculation is that Sony put up some cash to help them get the license from LucasArts. It should be coming to other platforms eventually. I am inclined to believe this considering Double Fine's recent history of bringing their games to PC (i.e.: Brutal Legend, Costume Quest, Psychonauts, etc.).
It will probably take a few months or a year+, but I bet you it will come to PC.

The internet is currently exploding due to Ubisoft claiming that the reason they didn't include women as an option for multiplayer is that they didn't have the resources. They say this after creating a detailed 1 to 1 recreation of a gigantic area of Paris, larger than all the islands in Black Flag put together. What the fuck Ubisoft. What the fuck.
Hilariously, quite a few comment-pillocks are claiming that including a woman assassin in a game set in revolutionary France would be unrealistic.
Lulz.

The programmers have seen Paris and know what it looks like.

Weird, they included women in all the assassin's creed titles so why not in revolutionary France? Especially considering
this is the painting they chose to commemorate it.

The best argument I saw for this was that in order to give your character any depth you need to define them throughout, and by being gender non-specific you can't do that. I'm not convinced personally - I'm sure the majority of plot and dialogue would work just as well for either, and if Bioware can record every line of player dialogue twice then Ubi can do it. On the other hand Mass Effect was built on the character of its NPCs, Shepard was probably the least interesting character in the game.

whereas the guy/girl from ass creed is known for the massive amount of character depth and incredible personality.

But this is about multiplayer, where the depth of your character goes about as far as the five lines of bio in the selection menu.

I don't know the specifics of Ass Creed because I've never played any of them, but I thought it was a more measured argument than most. I don't necessarily agree though.

I read into the issue and apparently it was about the co-op multiplayer which is new for this game, not the added multiplayer game the other assassin's creeds have. Still, it's a dumb argument.
