What do you watch internets with?

Or, what browser do you use? Also why?

I currently use Firefox but I'm getting increasingly dismayed with it. Is that grammatically correct? Should that be decreasingly mayed?

I use Firefox as it seems to be the lesser of evils. And I like the new layout.

My trust in Google is gone, so no Chrome. Although I do have a Nexus tablet, but use FF on that.

All other browser options are silly.

Chrome, Google master race. *Airpunch*

Mostly because it has really fantastic web developer tools, but it's also nippy, has very little chrome (the stuff that isn't the website you're on, like the URL bar/menu/tabs etc) and knits in well with my Nexus 5 and 7. I'm also investing in a Chromecast for the TV. All praise our Googly overlords!

I still use FF. At one point it was bloated and unusable so I installed Chrome but for some reason that I can't remember it didn't work like it was supposed to and I fixed FF and used that again. Chrome is still there but I never really use it. I use chrome on my phone though, it's really good on that.

Like Spoodie says, most other options are silly.

I shifted from FF to Chrome over the weekend, on the basis of random instability from FF, combined with the changing it to look like chome.

The main thing keeping me with FF was the familiarity, so with that gone, there wasn't much making me want to stick with a somewhat bloaty, unstable browser.

FF turned into bloatware. Sold myself to google a long time ago. Love the cloud thing so I can log in anywhere and have bookmarks ready to go.

Is Firefox still bloated though? I know this was a criticism a couple of years ago, but I think they fixed that to some degree.

Well, at work I've not much choice as I need to use FF and Chrome for testing web apps.

However, at home I'm going to stay with FF 28 for a while. I'm not too against Chrome, but I might swap to Chromium or a fork of it (like Iron or something).

It is much better than it was, but I still found it using more than 500mb of ram randomly here and there, even with just a couple of tabs open.

I've been using Firefox, but now they made the orange button go away which I really liked and replaced it with a menu just like the one in Chrome. If Firefox love Chrome so much that they want to copy it, I might as well switch to Chrome.

Watching my FF I can see its using up to 0.5GB, which is quite bloated.

On the subject of Netscape and browser monetisation, have you ever paid for a browser? I did, once.

I used Firefox for a long time before it started crashing/resource hugging. Switched to chrome and with it's integration with android devices I have never looked back.

Firefox does sync across computers and android, not iOS thought, unfortunately.

I don't like the sync stuff. Other people sometimes use my phone.

Chrome is my clean, SFW, mobile browser theoretically, but Google still know all my dirty browsing habits. I like that my main computer remembers where all the best places for filth are, but I don't like what it suggests when I'm showing my Mum how to put Freecell on her Hudl.

This is why everyone needs a porn browser, with your search engine set to bing. :)

Same here. Always used FF until mem usage went through the roof. Could never find out what was causing it so switched to Chrome.

Only issue I've had so far is with Netflix and Sliverlight - quite often it just point blank refuses to work.
