The guys from Valve who did L4D/L4D2 have split back off into an independent company and are making a 4v1 shooter thing. It looks pretty.

Looks cool, but it's kind of a thin premise.

So was L4D, kinda. On paper it sounds kinda dull, but it's good fun in 5punky groups.

Hopefully this will have a bit more depth though, and it doesn't turn out like Tank encounters in L4D. If there's a certain amount of monster and hunter customisation/unlocks then it might be pretty decent.

Wasn't there a MOD called Hidden, or something, where one player was hunted by everyone else?

Yeah, only instead of being invisible and powerless, you're 30ft tall and spit fire and lasers.

I hope it just doesn't turn out to be basically a reskined Left for Dead. Even the types of players look a little similar.

Could be good though.

Read about this in the Shortlist, sounds pretty good. Being small and powerless, having to scavage for scraps until you become big and strong sounds quite cool, as well as being on the other side and having a race against time to find the creature at a point where you can still defeat it.
