I can see this is mentioned elsewhere in daily threads, so making a dedicated one.

Does anyone have this yet? I only saw the trailer yesterday and it certainly looks like an interesting idea. Possibly infuriating and dispiriting as well.

Apparently this is the last week of half price early access. Although I suspect you'll be able to pick it up post-release for half price in a sale.

I've had it for ages, although I've not played it in equally as long. It's interesting. I like the concept, but I struggled to understand how the bits and pieces worked. When I went to other peoples' houses they either had elaborate deathtraps because they'd spent huge amounts more time playing than me, or traps which allowed entry once then made it impossible to get past without cutting walls down.

I just bought it as it was only a few quid. That may have been a mistake as I immediately see what you mean. Just a few seconds away from my house and all my money is gone and my wife is dead, that was two people in those few seconds. There seems to be an almost perfectly vertical learning cliff ahead of me.

At the very least Jason Rohrer is an interesting, experimental designer. I'm glad I've supported him either way.

Of course and for me the same applies to various other small or under appreciated developers.

Hopefully the game will have a little more forgiving player base once it's gone on more general release.

Giantbomb has a quick look up. It gives me some ideas about how to make a start
