You need to roll to hit again first. Don't really understand the logic but that's what it says.

Pity, I wanted to see if you could make it explode into bacon. Never mind.

What's your WS Joose? You're getting +10 for being in melee with me and another +10 if you use a half action to aim or go for an all out I think.

Actually it's +20 for aiming and +10 for outnumbering it (and another +10 because piggy is down). So you hit!

Fuck me, I think we've worked out how to do combat (me included). Outnumber them and make them lie down.

Want to roll for bacon damage?

As the boar tries to stagger to its feet you catch it on the shoulder with a heavy blow which severs an artery, not to mention much of the leg. It thrashes around, spraying blood everywhere (including you and Laramar), before eventually expiring.

Are we reading from different rule books again? I've only got it down as +10, not that I'd mind it being +20 :)

Sort of. You're reading from the rule book and I'm reading from my crib sheet. Which is wrong. Fortunately he still hit because of the pig lying down, but thanks for pointing that out (and the fact that I suck at rules).

I'll assume you're investigating the inside of the temple too. The idol is pretty weathered and filthy, but its eyes are small, gold-coloured, almond shaped gems. Anyone wishing to try to figure out what they are and how much they're worth can do so, but I'll make the roll for you. As for the boar, if anyone has Wilderness Survival or a relevant trade skill (butchery I would imagine) feel free to cook him up. If not you can always hack lumps of meat off and eat those.

Well, might as well do the roll for the appraisal.
I don't think anyone has cooking skills, but we could probably hack some off and take it back with us.

You're all about the same so it doesn't really matter who looks at them. None of you know what kind of gems they are, or whether they're worth more or less in the statue. They're pretty though.

The boar is heavier than a man, and between you there's not a huge amount of strength. You hack off some chunks of thigh and flank though, causing quite a mess in the process.
