Well, it does have an ability to charge, but it's a fairly enclosed space and you pretty much took each other by surprise so it's more trotting at you. It's only a few meters away, the temple is only a small one-room jobby, easily enough for you to dash inside and close with it.

Considering my track record with hitting things, I don't particularly want to rush in. It's also not the done thing as an Elf.

I shall infact take up a defensive stance, and hopefully next turn it'll be sticking its head through the doorway so I'll have got a framed target to jab at.

Is it close enough for me to flail at wildly?

If so I shall flail at it wildly.

That is a hit. Also remember that the more of you there are in combat the easier it is to hit. Roll some damage please.

It seems to notice that one but it just makes it angrier. So it tries to gore you but misses utterly.

Next round, FJ please!

It's +20 for aiming, but you hit either way. It's starting to look beaten up now.

I think I'm at -20 for shooting into melee, but not sure whether him being outnumbered gives me a +10, or if that's just for the melee guys.

And leave a mark it does. The boar stumbles and lands on its side trying to get up. Also, I'd say you probably only get the bonus in melee to represent your opponent having to split his attention and posturing.

Doesn't FJ get to use Ulric's Fury rule for rolling a 10 on the damage roll as well? Or is that melee only?

I'd forgotten about that. Don't see why ranged attacks shouldn't get it too. I don't think Ulric has a particular aversion to helping slingers smite the shit out of people.

FJ, you may roll to hit again. If you do you can roll an additional D10 for damage (and if you roll another 10 you get to roll again, and so on).
