Tricky without a client. Laser Squad Nemesis is supposed to be good, but it needs a client installing and I'm pretty sure they won't let you.

Chess? You'll need a board and I'm not playing you.

I did, which is why I said I wouldn't play you.
The horsies can fire lasers, right? But only diagonally.

Dear anham - Go download Mojopac at
http://www.mojopac.com/
It allows you to make your MP3 Player / Portable hard disk / whatever into a virtual computer that plays games. You should thus be able to install any game that fits onto your device and run it from that

Doesn't it require admin privs to run on the host computer? And won't any ports/websites required still be blocked?

Ah, very possibly. Well then LSN might be just the man for you. I'm not sure if you can play Combat Mission PBEM too...

The last PCGUK mag had a page on e-mail games, If my memory serves me right, the best was made by the guys who did the x-com series, also, CIV4 allows e-mail play.

It's quite good. I played the trial against a computer opponent and it feels very X-Com. There isn't the depth of the X-Com series (no campaign mode, it's just sort of deathmatch I think), but it has the same turn-based feel. It's probably quite cheap now too so I'd give it a go.
