With the news today that the Tour de France route has been confirmed (which Look North won't shut up about), we learn that it's coming through Masham (home of KV) and West Tanfield (home of myself). I immediately thought that it'd be a nice event to organise a bash around, even if you're not interested in cycling.

Now, I don't know if I'll still be in Yorkshire then (probably not in fact, and almost certainly not on the route), and if I am I couldn't host the thing, so er... I didn't think this through. /nudge KV

The date is set for us: Sat 5th July (and of course weekend of).

Anyway, it's a long way off but, interest?

No hardship for me to pop back for a few jars and a chinwag, I'll collect lots of sticks so we can cause some horrendous accidents.
